I know a handful of men, all of them idiots, who will occasionaly refer to their spouse, or EX-spouse, or sometimes PROGENITRESS-IN-LAW, as a "harpy." O TRULY?? Your wife has wings instead of arms? She is a feathered, emaciated personification of the WIND ITSELF? This woman you married hatches brilliant orange eggs high on a cliffside and feeds her young a steady regurgitated diet of half-digested snakes and the eyeballs of warriors who did not hear her feathery wingbeats in time?
